I am new to Open Source projects, but was interested in doing something with Xerces. For my needs I am using MinGW-MSYS and found that the configure scripts and makefile templates worked well. So I modified the configure scripts, makefile templates, and a small source tweak to accomplish this.

Since I'm ignorant of Open Source projects, I have to ask...are these the types of changes that the group is interested in being submitted back to the community?

Yes they are. Many thanks for the thought. The best way is to create a set of diffs against the head of the tree in SVn and attach it to a bug report.

Cheers,

Gareth
