Yes, the only remaining issue is having Xerces build on the platforms for
which binaries are usually built (Windows - RedHat - AIX - Solaris - HPUX
for 32 bit, SuSE - AIX - Solaris - HPUX for 64 bit). As the build status
page shows, AIX is not ready, and Solaris has some issues with older
compilers.
As stated in the May Board Report, "there has not been enough work on
testing the new build system to feel comfortable releasing it. Hopefully
that will change this quarter." We already asked on the mailing list for
help on fixing the AIX build, but if nobody shows up, we could just drop it
and release Xerces 3.0 on the other platforms.
