xerces throws exception while opening xml file

Cim-Provider application try to open and close the same single xml file in a
loop. each iteration has a delay of 20 seconds. after few iterations (example
after 23rd iteration) XML Parser throws IOException.
this is seen on vmware esxi 5(cosless).
Is Xerces supported on vmware esxi 5 ?. do we have any work around\Solution for
this issue.
