There is a depressing amount of that kind of traffic, and I share your
frustration. I simply delete 90% of the traffic.

I'm not ready to leave yet, though, because there are enough people who
genuinely know what they're doing--you, Thomas Hruska, Victor Wagner, Peter
Nilsson, Paul Herring, Brett McCoy, and some others (forgive me if I left
out your name). Sharing information with these people, most of whom know
more about C++ than I, makes the list worthwhile for me.

I do wish the 12-year-old newbies would stay away, though.
