I've personally toyed with the idea of rejecting messages with a link
to the relevant part of the "Smart Questions" article, instead of
allowing them through. Not done it yet though.

I've already left day to day C and C++ - I'm doing propriatory
languages and also just moved to PHP (group promotion snipped ;) . I'm
still here.


To be honest, though, this list is still has a remarkably high signal
to noise ratio - the apparent problem seems to be that homework
questions seem to be considered noise instead of signal.
