I'm not aware of any C e-books that are free. Bruce Eckel's Thinking in C++ series is free. Safe C++ Design Principles (by me) is free for c-prog members (see Files section). Other than that, I'm not aware of any free e-books. Most book authors and publishers are frustrated with the e-book piracy industry...they get one site taken down and two more pop up.
