According to me, its not possible. Functionality of union, its size would be
equal to the longest varible. For e.g if you have an int, float and a char in a
union, d size of union would be equal to size of float. Now if u place some
value in float and refer d int, lower 2 bytes wd be refered. Similar would be
the case with char. If you modify the value of char n then print the float, its
value would be change. Now suppose for linked list u have, lptr,rptr,value. All
would be 2 bytes. Dont you think if this is the structure of your union, all
three would have same value
