I can't help with mac, I've done no programming for that system,
But as for "experimental purposes," that's what you see on all the source code 
that is released and published that is either unethical or not legal.
"I don't accept responsibility for this, it's for experimentation only..."
It's like saying, I only tested that nucular bomb for experimental purposes..."
