I think it's bad form and against convention to automatically clear a
console screen without warning the user. As I noted earlier, on Unix
consoles even full screen console apps don't clear the screen. Even
the CygWin console screen behaves in this manner (it essentially works
like a Unix terminal). I think the programmer *shouldn't* assume it's
OK to clear the screen.
