I second the motion. Free, fast, all around better than Winzip.

This is the approach I am taking. After spending a few hours evaluating
logging libraries in the interwebs, I found that none of them meet my
criteria:

1. Open source.
2. Complete. Not some 5 year old abandoned project that is
half-implemented.
3. Has a reasonable dependency chain.
4. C++.

So, here I am, writing my own open source C++ library that depends only
on the Standard Library and possibly Boost.

Now I just need to finish it...
