/usr/local/share/doc/openerp-server-6.0.1/openerp-server.conf
to
/etc/openerp-server.conf

Quit from user postgres:
$ exit
exit
Edit OpenERP configuration file:
$ sudo vi /etc/openerp-server.conf
My new installation (fresh Ubuntu 10.10-server, fresh OpenERP 6.0.1 server)
placed this file at
/usr/local/share/doc/openerp-server-6.0.1/openerp-server.conf
not at
/etc/openerp-server.conf
