I do NOT agree
the project issue does not send the id in the mail header - so the same
problem here
BTW this worked fine in V5 - I do not understand why this is removed.
it's 1/2 line of code to add the id to the subject and IMHO is mandatory
part of every tracking system to uniquely identify the case.
ad 1
* project issue needs a project (mandatory), hence it is not suitable for
"normal" crm requests which are handled by mailgate - it's definitely not
possible to determine a project from a customer request.
ad 2
* if the customers receives a mail with the ticket number, he will use it for
communication hence :
** for communication with partners/clients the bug number must be searchable in
the search view (not via Form goto id)
BTW - it would be nice to supply a an inactive template for then
base.action.rule you mentioned, I am not sure that it is as simple as it
looks at the first glance

in v5 we had "visible" ticket numbers which have also been printed in the
"subject" of emails
this information is not available nay more - neither in mails not in in forms
how should the communication with partners etc work now ?
