Hello,
The issue is already been reported in trunk and has been fixed at Trunk
gtk client @1908 [email protected] its a
duplicate of lp:721347.
For the fix to be available in windows version you need to wait till the
next release of the OpenERP windows installer.
@ community team: can you please reshuffle the status/team/ project.

Windows XP version 2002, OpenERP v6.0.2
* Sales / Address Book / Customers, from the form view of a customer click to
add an address
* In the country field start typing "fr"
Obtained result : it displays the list of matching countries in
english while the current language is french
Expected result : it displays the list of matching countries in the
(current) language of the user
