By the end of next week, HTTP Client 2.0 should be out in alpha, possibly 
beta, and Latka will be changed to work with it.  (Note that Latka's use of 
HTTP Client is purely internal, so it's a relatively simple matter.)

I expect the same statements, but perhaps not the same timeframe applies to 
Cactus.

As previously discussed (at great length) on this list, Slide will continue 
to use HTTP Client 1.0 at least until the next major release of Slide, since 
the current version of Slide exposes the 1.0 version of HTTP Client to its 
clients.

(Remy/Vincent, correct me if I'm mistaken.)

Personally, I wouldn't sweat this too much until a formal x.0 release has 
been made, and that should be soon.
