Hi,

This follows a recent email exchange with Julien about his work with a
Maven build for Cactus.

I'd like to have your opinion about committing, next to our Ant build
file, a maven build. The idea will be to progressively make it as good
(or better) than our current build (by that, I mean that we should not
loose build features). We won't stop using the Ant build till we are
completely satisfied with the maven build.

I can see several factor of possible success here:
- the fact that Julien seems keen to help us on a long term
- the fact that I know Maven quite well and that I am a Maven committer
(thus I can tweak maven to make it work for our use case)
- the fact that Jason Van Zyl (initial creator of Maven) wanted to do
the move to Maven for Cactus a while ago and I'm sure he's keen to help
us in maven land to accommodate cactus needs in term of build

What do you say?

Here's my +1 to committing the patches that Julien send us for a maven
build.

Thanks
-Vincent
