I think I've stripped it down, still a bigger amount of stuff than you'd expect. For example via Tomcat-4 you inherit a dependency on commons-fileupload, which depends on jakarta-pluto (must be a very comprehensive fileupload library, really), which in turn pulls in half of the persistence universe. I'll try a run of this Gump workspace and hope only the cactus builds will fail. If it works the way I'd want it to work, you'll have a zip containing all sources/packages and a Bourne shell script you can run to work exactly as Gump does tomorrow. I hope you don't need a Windows version, otherwise I'll have to try to create a batch file which may be more work.
