Good differentiation. The relative qualitative differences between modular
and integrated solutions is fuzzy at best driven more by requirements and
context than absolute decree.

I agree completely. The ability to meet requirements elegantly is more
probable with a simpler framework, but those complex frameworks with good
design and documentation also stand a fair chance of meeting requirements.
