To be honest, I am not quite sure, if this would be the right approach
to deal with this. Instead of implementing this kind of warnings in 
installer,
I might recommend that the bug which causes that issue should be fixed:

6670311 kernel picks up Linux swap partition (0x82) instead of Solaris2 
(0xbf) one

The great thing about OpenSolaris is that everybody is eligible
to contribute, so even if the team responsible for the bug doesn't
have cycles to take care of it (this might or might not be the case
of this bug), it could be addressed by people from community. The
