Adding access to this information for python API consumers should be relatively trivial. However, I would remind users specifying the size in the manifest, that unless specific versions of all of the packages being installed have been given, and unless the manifest is for a specific architecture (I don't know if AI allows sharing manifests among architectures) that this can vary greatly. Providing this information to cli consumers is a lot more problematic from a parse-able output viewpoint.
