Hi Robert,

The issues Peter points out aren't really architectural issues, they are
usability and possibly design issues. However, that said, we are aware
we have these issues with AI, and that the user experience isn't
optimal. As I said in my response to Peter, we are working on this.

For context on what we are providing with AI take a look at:

http://opensolaris.org/os/project/caiman/auto_install/AI_Reqs_Final/

Along with other AI documentation at:
http://opensolaris.org/os/project/caiman/auto_install/

What we are trying to do with AI is utilize the technology in
OpenSolaris to our advantage, require less user 'input' for things like
system configuration and client setup, to simplify the setup and
configuration for our enterprise customers. The goals of AI are outline
in the AI design document, V1.0, which is on the AI project page.

How you can help us is to use AI, file bugs, start conversations on this
alias about the things you like and don't like about AI. Concrete user
data helps.

thanks,
sarah
