Martin and Dave: I am the original bug filer for the wanboot bugs. I found the problem on both the 280R and Sun blade 2000 in nevada and s10 updates.
When snv_111 was available, I did try to boot the DVD media and I was able to do a regular wanboot install on the sunblade 2000 and confirmed the bug was fixed. This is fixed in snv_111 and this is from line2-sb2k: Probing system devices Sun Blade 1000 (2 X UltraSPARC-III+) , No Keyboard Copyright 1998-2004 Sun Microsystems, Inc. All rights reserved.
