I accept the apology. > > This is the first time I've used bugzilla and I was unfamiliar with > how the various fields are used in it - we seem to be missing a lot of > flexibility that bugster has internally, for example the ability to > seperate the severity of a bug to a customer from whether or not it is > a "stopper". Yep, understood. You are right there are some features in Bugster which Bugzilla is currently lacking. For instance, we would be interested in alternatives of 'Commit to Fix in build' and 'Fix in build'. But as other OpenSolaris project and processes, Bugzilla is evolving as well, so it is likely that some of new features will be added later. And as with other projects, it is of course matter of priorities and resources. I might recommend to share your observations with people maintaining Bugzilla. To be honest I am not sure what the contact is. In case you are interested, I might recommend to ping David Comay. Just to clarify, marking bugs as 'Enhancement' in Bugzilla doesn't mean that we treat particular feature as low priority one. As Automated Installer is under active development, enhancements do matter :-) And if you take a look at the list of all install enhancements, you can see pretty important stuff there - e.g. text installer. Best regards, Jan
