I hate asking such a baby bird question, I was hoping for a pointer, some procedures, even a "look here" RTFM is welcome :).
On the TTY installer page (http://hub.opensolaris.org/bin/view/Project+caiman/Text+Install+b131+Notes), it says: "Gnome packages are not installed (but can be added later using pkg(1))" Was wondering, can anyone point me to some docs or provide a simple set of procedures to add GNOME, GDM, etc., so that a functional windowing system will work on SPARC after a TTY install, please? I'm hoping to find a succinct list that includes: GNOME, GDM, GUI admin tools & base applications that get installed when using the "Live CD". I suspect others may be working on the same problem.
