Hi Matt,

Thank you very much for responding. Here are my comments in line.

We have two clients configured to use the same service name (0906x86).
As per the man page installadm list command lists install services. But
my question is, why it is listing two services with the same name as we
have configured only one service "0906x86) and assigned this service to
2 clients with the following command. So is it listing the no.of
clients configured for this service?

#installadm create-client -e 0:1E:68:04:50:1D -b "console=ttya" -n
0906x86 -t /export/aiserver/osol-0906-ai-x86

It is not listing the clients and -c option is not available as per the
man page. Is there any other command to list the no.of clients
configured with the service?

root at sf-admin2:~# installadm list -c
list: missing one or more required options.
usage:
        list [-n <svcname>]

root at sf-admin2:~# installadm list
The install services running on the system are:

0906x86
0906x86

root at sf-admin2:~# installadm list -n 0906x86
Manifest
--------
default-fig.xml
root at sf-admin2:~#

Note: the above command installadm list with -n option is not listing
the another client which is using default.xml.

Our systems are in colo datacenter and due to firewall restrictions it
is not possible.

Looks like the HTTP request is failing for the service, so apache svc
may not be running on your install server.

I am just curious if the installadm create service adds any entries to
apache httpd.conf file? I don't see any changes to the apache config
file but there is one more ai-httpd.conf file in
/var/ai/46501/ai-httpd.conf file which is listening to port 5555. But
not sure why the http request is failing. As I said I did not have any
problem with installing the first client but now have this issue with
the other client.
