Hi, Jan and Mary, Thanks for your reply and suggestion. It's a little troubled to enter the lab to use the CD drive, so I preferred network installation. And also I have gone so further and I didn't want to give up halfway. OpenSolaris is an on-going operating system and I can't know what I will be facing when I use the CD media, maybe another defect.:-)
It's also funny to know how AI works during this time.:-) Yesterday I tried to mount boot_archive via lofi device, and hacked the script live-fs-root, the installation is broken when creating /etc/netboot directory (error with Read-only file system, which is ramdisk), it seems that I'm running into another issue which is related with boot_archive format, more investigation is needed for me. I will continue and never give up:-) Thanks & Regards, Gavin Mu 2010/3/2 Jan Damborsky <Jan.Damborsky at sun.com>: > Hi Gavin Mu, > > > On 03/ 1/10 03:07 PM, Gavin Mu wrote: >> >> Hi, Jan, >> >> Thanks for your reply.
