I just pushed a preliminary draft of the DC->CUD design document to the caiman-docs repository. Some sections of the document are explicitly a work-in-progress and not complete but if you're looking for night time reading over the long weekend, this version should help you get started.
The document can be grabbed by cloning - ssh://[email protected]/hg/caiman/caiman-docs and can be found under distro_constructor/dc_cud_design.[pdf,odt] I will send out another email next week once I complete writing the document. I will also be ready to recieve feedback on the spec at that time.
