No, I don't think this would be a another change in direction for the derived
manifest.
Primarily since the derived manifest work is focused on the XML manifest, and as
such, any references to paths here should be all XML based - since that's what's
being modified/amended.
Ah okay. I was mistaken then. I thought the "paths" you mentioned
in your proposal were the XML, rather than paths to dataobjects.
