In light testing on my two laptops, the new sort lists improve boot time
by 5-10% for the text install media, 10-20% for the live CD in
comparison to RE's snv_149 images. Improvement on text install is
smaller simply because the lack of the desktop reduces the amount loaded
directly from media.
