Keith,

Can you confirm whether the publishers in my DC manifest file are set-up
properly? The packages in the yf-on* repo's are based on bits sync'd
with nv_151a.

Setting preferred publisher: on-nightly
Origin repository: http://mpkpen-ai-3.sfbay.sun.com/yf-on-nightly
Setting alternate publisher: on-extra

Setting alternate publisher: solaris

Setting alternate publisher: opensolaris.org

I edited the DC manifest so that it no longer tries to install
"pkg:/developer/sunstudio12u1" and left the 4 publishers as shown above.
It still hit an error, so the issue isn't with sunstudio12u1. I then
removed the opensolaris.org publisher; same DC error.

So besides the 4 publishers I specified, the other change I made in my
DC manifest is to specify that entire should be installed at the 151a
version.

< <pkg name="pkg:/entire"/>

I suspect I may have goofed up the DC manifest, but with these minimal
changes what could be wrong?

You may well be able to install 151 w/ these publishers
if you install the following:

pkg install --accept \
entire \
consolidation/osnet/osnet-incorporation \
system/install/media/internal \
auto_install \
sunstudio12u1

By not specifying entire, any version will be selected.
Since the yf publisher is the first to provide osnet-incorporation, it
will automatically install 0.5.11,5.11-0.151, the only one available.
The only version of entire that will work with that is
0.5.11,5.11-0.151, so you'll get a matched set.

You cannot pick 151.0.1 for entire unless you rebuild your on-nightly
at that version level; remember that installing entire forces all
packages to be at the same version level, but the publisher search
order takes preference. This is just as well, however; if your
request for pkg:/[email protected],5.11-0.151.0.1 was honored you'd end
up w/ an image w/o packages from the on-nightly publisher.
