Hi Keith,

the changes look good to me. Thank you very much for putting those
examples
together, they are really useful.

WRT this, I have one question/comment. Do you think it might make
sense to deliver
those examples with IPS package, so that potential external consumers of
terminal UI (e.g. Ed McKnight :-) can easily access them ?
I was wondering if it would be fine to install them into subdirectory of
/usr/lib/python2.6/vendor-packages/terminalui/
(e.g. demo or samples or examples).

That may be possible; though putting them in a package means either
adding them to system/install (which means they end up on everybody's
system, plus the install media), or creating a separate package to wrap
them in - neither of those options seems particularly desirable at this
point, though the latter option could be wrapped into a
"developer/build/install-build" package concept. In either case, I think
I'd like to defer on that. For consumers desiring to use it, they can
still grab them out of slim_source itself for the time being.

You could also choose to deliver them there and tag them with appropriate facets.

They'd be installed by default, but administrators could set the appropriate facet ahead of time to prevent their installation.

Interesting idea, though it doesn't help the install media case unless I went and updated DC now, which has a rather bad cost:benefit ratio at the moment. I'll consider it for the future though, when I have a bit more time to expand on this.
