All, I noticed with build 163 that 'ping' is a separate package now, which is not a real problem. The problem is that it's not include in the packages that the documentation says is a "default" install (pkg:/entire, pkg:/SUNWcsd, pkg:/SUNWcs, pkg:/babel_install) I'm not sure there is more stuff missing Thanks Paul --
