An observation from the platinum program is that the lack of timezone
support in AI manifests is making running of the install reporter less
trivial (it can no longer be done as the first step of a login after the
install reboot.)

According to William, it is not available yet.
That entire property group "other_sc_params" became obsolete with 164
when new SC profiles were introduced. We will announce time
zone support when it comes available. Please refer to recent updates in
http://hub.opensolaris.org/bin/view/Project+caiman/SMF_SC_for_AI
That would be a good page to watch, since we will update it as new
basic features become available.

All,
Can soneone tell me how to set the timezone in the sc_manifest for build 164 and
later ?
It must have been changed together with the hostname, as previously in:
<service_bundle name="system configuration" type="profile">
<service name="system/install/config" type="service" version="1">
<instance name="default" enabled="true">
<property_group name="other_sc_params" type="application">
<propval name="timezone" type="astring" value="US/Pacific" />
<propval name="hostname" type="astring" value="barcelona" />
</property_group>
</instance>
</service>
I know the hostname is now the service called "system/identify", but I can't
find anything related to the timezone
Thanks
Paul
