Hi -

Been reading the docs, but I've so far not identified a way to list the versions/releases of Solaris 11 that an IPS repository can support. My goal is to specify a version other than the latest available to install. I see the example in the basic_ai.xml template, but need the list of correct version numbers to use.

Thanks,
Jeff

Just tried a few things, and this seems to work, but I don't know if there's
a better way:

andrew:~# pkg list -f -a -g /repo/repo pkg://solaris/entire\*
NAME (PUBLISHER) VERSION IFO entire 0.5.11-0.175.0.4.0.5.0 --- entire 0.5.11-0.175.0.3.0.4.0 --- entire 0.5.11-0.175.0.2.0.3.0 --- entire 0.5.11-0.175.0.2.0.3.0 --- entire 0.5.11-0.175.0.1.0.4.0 i-- entire 0.5.11-0.175.0.0.0.2.0 ---
#

The repo has Solaris 11 GA, and SRU01 through SRU04 (listed in reverse order). The "i" in the last column means that one is installed (and yes, the system is running SRU1). as pkg list -f -a claims to list the installed version and all
the repo versions, this may mean that you cannot actually tell for sure if
SRU01 is in the repo, as it will be listed anyway due to being installed.

The repo contains SRU02 and SRU02a, but you don't seem to be able to distinguish these two from the above output, except you can see what looks like two SRU02's.
