I suppose you use "compiz-decorator". So if you launch 'compiz-decorator --replace' or 'emerald --replace' when you have the bug, all is now ok?
But how Cairo-Dock can provoke a bug into another application where there isn't any interaction between them? Personally, I think that it's just because there is a new application launched at startup . 'compiz-decorator' is maybe launched too soon (before the complete loading of Compiz). Title bar is one having min,max and closign buttons. So i need to logout and login and problem soved. When running with -o i.e. opengl i was facing the same problem with additional hang problem, so I decided not to use cairo dock with -o option. I added cario dock to startup applications like this: cairo-dock -c NOTE: This bug is not duplicate. Situation: I have cairo-dock set at startup only in my this standard account. Above mentionoed problems occured only in this account due to cairo-dock. I dont have this dock in my admin accoutn not even at startup and not either after. and I NEVER faced above mentioned problem there in admin account. I have compiz enabled there in admin acount but desktop effects to none.
