Im going to rewrite the classes.
Its just a shame that you cant use these old classes.
The cake RAD is just so incompatible with php objects it feels like im
working with a new language rather than a new framework. Ive had
similar problems with cake sessions and had to also rewrite that class.
I am re-using some of my classes as explained above. I did not have to re-write them at all, they just have a completely separate connection to the database and do not rely on cake to connect.
