save() is a function written in php - a language I would hope Reynier is familiar with - Look for it, and figure out why it's doing what you're observing. Then "Oh...", slap forehead, fix it, and carry on. debug(neverLookedAtTheCodeOfThisFunction()); is not going to tell you anything.
