There is no favorite table, no do I need 1. Its just 2 word named table. "I have a favorite post so I'm going to bookmark it"....i have bookmark for something else so that's not an option.

Maybe in a many to many relationship? If you had a Favourite model and a Posts model and you wanted to associate them together, you would use a Favourite_Posts table. Can you change the name of the Favourite_Posts table to remove the underscore? What happens if you create the Favourite_Posts model by hand?
