Yeah, success of CakePHP depends both on its community, and its developers
team.

What if you have users very excited, but a team that's not committed and
takes months to fix bugs? I can assure you the project would not succeed.

I have an obvious bias, but I think Chris, that's its probably a  
combination of both the team and the community (which is really just  
an extension of the team, anyway).
