Thanks for the information answer. However, its not a matter of being hard, its a matter of being necessary. I was more interested in finding out if anyone else had done something similar or had a better approach to handling this (and possibly, if I did this if anyone else would find it valuable) than being told not to use cake on legacy DBs.
