I've been playing around with CakePHP for a little over 24 hours in total now and I've just given up on the IBM "Cook up Web sites fast" tutorial; it was hopelessly buggy and inconsistent. I don't want to rant, and obviously some parts are out of date, but for this tutorial to be one of the suggested ways of getting started seems a little wrong.
I have a bad habit of sticking with a tutorial once I've started, I should probably have given up sooner, but I can't be alone in wondering what the most efficient way to get into CakePHP is.
