Hi, I have am creating an invoice input form and don’t know the best way to solve the problem so am looking for some advice. The relationships are as follows, Invoice has many usedparts Parts has may used parts (used parts is not just a join table for many to many but also includes other fields like quantity)
There is a similar relations ship where, Invoice has many claims Invoice has a workreason Claim has many worktypes And a many to many relationship for workreason worktype which as its own table. (again claims is not just a join table it has some other fields) You will notice this is not the best relationship layout it but I could not find another way of doing it. I looked at using the saveall() but I don’t know how many claims/ usedparts there will be in advanced. This seemed to limit my options. Can anyone help?? If you need more details let me know?
