Hello my name is Robin and I run Aucadia.com a crowdsourced/funded music site. I'm not going to explain the concept behind the site here, because it's explained better at Aucadia.com (click on the "Find out more" link), but I think it's something that will grow to be a real challenge to the ailing music industry and something I'm very excited about.
The reason I'm posting for the first time here is that I've got to the stage where it would be really helpful to get some extra developers involved, especially developers who also have an interest in music or the music industry. As well as being a programmer, I'm a keen musician and this project has allowed me to unite my two passions. It would be fantastic if I could find someone that shares these passions and is willing to give up a bit of their time to further the site a bit. Anyway, please reply here or pm me if you're at all interested. It's not just PHP developers we need, if you have jQuery, CSS or just plain HTML skills you can also help out. If you don't feel able to lend your dev skills towards the project then it would still be great if you would help test the site by creating an account and having a go at trading. I'd really love it if people would tell me how things can be improved and what they didn't understand and needs to be made clearer.
