I didn´t turn it off i´ve only changed in the core the Salt security values for sha1 and numbvalues nothing else.
I´ve tested it. if i use the url like this: http://my.site/clients/add_client<http://my.site/*app/webroot/index.php/*clients/add_client> it also work.
