Hi Julie, How many people will be there? Do you have to make all the desserts yourself? Is it casual or dressy? I have so many recipes...One good one for all occaions is for a terrific strawberry pie. You only bake the crust and it is really easy. You could also try getting a cupcake stand and then doing simple cupcakes with edible glitter. It's amazing how the stand makes them look like so much more. I get a lot of inspiration from the Wilton yearbooks as well. They don't have a lot of recipes, but I use good old Betty Crocker mix and tune down some of the ideas to make flashy looking cakes that are really very simple.
