                           hot milk sponge cake

  2                     eggs
  1                cup  sugar
     1/2           cup  hot milk
  1                tbl  butter
  1                tsp  vanilla
  1                tsp  baking powder
     1/4           tsp  salt
  1 1/4           cups  flour

Beat eggs until thick.  Gradually add sugar and beat some more.  Sift 
flour, baking powder, and salt together.  Heat milk to boiling.  Add 
butter, vanilla, egg mixture.  Add dry ingredients and mix well.  
This will be a thin batter.  Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.
