Hi Tom, You can set up OpenLDAP with your existing MySQL database as a backend - at least, I'm assuming that what you mean is that your authentication records are in MySQL. (Dovecot and Postfix have nothing to do with authentication; they do email.) I've never done this, but check out the instructions for "back-sql" here: <http://www.openldap.org/faq/data/cache/978.html>.
