Resolution: Won't Fix
Unfortunately we cannot do that.
There is no programmatic API available to enable that permission. The only way
to enable it is for the user to manually go into the Application settings and
edit the permissions for your specific application.
I suppose this is a security decision by RIM on their platform. Not much we can
do.
