Tallying this vote so we can move forward.
The standard practice for doing this is to add a [RESULT] tag to the
subject line of the vote thread, and to collect all the votes that got
cast. That way there's a single email that can be referred to later on
as a clear record of the decision that was made. It's also a good idea
to include a time limit to a vote (72 hours is typical) to make it
clear when the vote will be tallied.
