This does happen on Android in most cases. Some manufactures, like Samsung, put
two images in the Gallery. One is the original and the second is the one that
has adjusted quality/width/height parameters. We have code that detects two
pictures were added and delete one if necessary. Also, if you have Google+
installed on your phone and select to auto upload the photos they don't get
saved in the Gallery.
