Joe Bowser reassigned CB-913:
-----------------------------

Assignee: Filip Maj (was: Joe Bowser)

OK, I've added the following to CordovaWebView:

 * Volume Up and Down should work
 * Legacy Back Button should work
 * Method that takes in an Android Key Code and overrides it and sends
something back

The question is what should that be? We need to be able to fire a generic
keyEvent with the key code attached. This is a JS issue, not an Android issue,
and this may be an issue with other platforms with weird keys as well. We're
going to need to figure this one out on the JS side now.

> Currently the Volume Up and Down events are in DroidGap.java. While this is
> fine for the general use case, it would be better if there was a utility
> class that handled these events. This would also allow us to implement the
> GamePad API for the Google TV events, because Google in their infinite wisdom
> chose to re-implement this instead of using the standard keyCodes for Up,
> Down, Left and Right.
> This should fix existing bugs on Google TV, as well as make the code neater.
> It also addresses CB-417.
